Take bus 25 from Porta de la Mar. About 30 minutes. At the Carrera de Riu (impar) coll vert stop. (this is the campsite stop) follow the handsome guys :-) Otherwise join the sea by going towards the chimney of an old factory. About 100 meters after on the beach, you are there. Behind you a shower indicates the entrance to the thickets (it's not huge) where you can go have fun. No seller in the corner when I was there then provide water and no shade either (except in the groves :-)). Very nice. Really pleasant sea.

Nudist beach within easy reach of Valencia centre

Gay naturist beach, plenty of spaces to sunbathe, no facilities so take your own water etc and be aware there's not much shade if you plan to spend a day there. Mixed crowd too. Bus 25 from Valencia centre, about 15 minutes to Coll Vert camping then head back towards the large chimney on/ next to the beach. Check out bus times for the return too to save you a possible 40 minute wait.

Nice beach with nice guys and a lot of fun in the woods

Beach is easy to reach in 15 minutes with bus no. 25. from the bus station you need to walk about 10minutes in direction Valencia. You easily recognize that it's the gay area of the beach. A lot of nude boys and men. I was there in October, so I guess there are many more gays around during high season. Behind the dunes there is a small forest, where the action takes place. It was a lot of fun with my boyfriend! I would go definitely again! There are showers available, but no toilets. Take something to drink with you as there are no shops or bars...

A great day at the Pinedo / El Saler Valencia Gay Beach

The Pinedo beach area is great in weekends during the summer. It is a clothing optional beach, and at the entrance of the beach you will find a lot of families (including grannies with a b.b.q, and if you walk to the left for about ten minutes it´s a more ´guys mostly ´beach. It is not an overly tourist place, which makes it quite a local and fun location to hang out. During the summer there is a little beach-hut selling drinks, but the biggest surprise is the FANTASTIC 5 star restaurant LESTIBADOR, just when you enter the beach. With smooth jazz on the background, waiters all suited up and Lobsters with Champagne at a bargain, this place makes a great location to relax, with unusual views!

Great beach, great cruising, and easy to get to

For foreign visitors, Playa de l’Arbre del Gos seems a lot more difficult to get to than the Malvarrosa beaches in the city. But in truth it is easier and faster to get here. We only took one bus, no.25 (which is new as of summer 2015), directly from the old city, for 30 minutes, and walked about 10 minutes. (It take a few switches on light rail and a long walk to get to Malvarrosa, and it isn’t all that gay.) We got off the bus at the stop at Coll Vert Camp ground. From there walking straight toward the ocean, El Salar beach is pretty much right there, and Playa de l’Arbre del Gos is just a short walk north of there. There isn't much of the "abandoned factory" left, just a chimney, and the gay section is just about 50 metres north of there. It is pretty obvious with the concentration of men, many of them pretty hot. (Though there are some women/straight folks as well.) The beach is quite clean and peaceful. It is quite vast so everyone get quite a bit of space. There is also a bit of a slope for those who want to survey the scenery. Some people go nude, maybe a third to a half. There were quite a bit of heavy making out right on the beach or in the ocean, and it seems no one there finds that to be anything out of the ordinary. The cruising happens in the bushes beyond the “abandoned factory”. We went on a Sunday and it was pretty busy, guys of all ages/sizes walking around looking for action. And there were a fair bit of action. If you are going to do it right there, you got to be comfortable being watched. It can be hot in the right circumstances. It should be noted that the beach has no restaurants or stores around it, so you pretty much need to bring everything you need for a beach day (food/drinks/condoms/lube, depending on your purpose.)
