Menfriends

Just a heads up that Menfriends is under new ownership for the first time in 35 years. The problem staff member is no longer working there.

The guy in the evening is rude...he is with the glasses and curly hair I think...he is rude the way he talk to the customer...he should be nice, polite and welcoming to the paying costumers. Customers are the bread and butter of a business. When U arrive at 11pm even if the closing time is 3am, he keep on telling people that he closing early but the closing time is 3am. He needs to learn customer service and the encourage customers to comeback. I think he is the reason that people stop coming back because of his rude attitude

A small town like Christchurch is lucky to have a venue like this - its amazing in just about every respect. The staff I met over several visits were warm and welcoming. Every sauna has its quieter moments but that didnt mean I missed out. HIghly recommend a visit to Menfriends!

The facilities are good however the entry to the venue is expensive and staff are rude.

I went there for my first time on Saturday 14th May and he was reluctant to give me my gold card discount was asked what three dollars. Because of that not sure if I go back, not many men there at all seems if you go by yourself you on the outer.

I allllways dreamed of such a place ...met an older guy (I love older men ) he took me there to show me he wants me and long story short... I love this place 10/10.

For a town the size of Christchurch, it is a surprise to find such a well-built, well-maintained and clean facility. On the design side, softer lighting in the spa, sauna and shower area would be more congenial. The steam room, however, is excellent. The sex shop has a terrific array of toys and the free tea and coffee a welcome touch. I was not impressed, however, at being asked to leave my bag behind the counter. Like all gay saunas around the world, they are struggling to remain relevant to the younger generation. The entry fee doesn't help. I would suggest some improvements along the German model. A lower entry price and the addition of a focal bar, cafe and restaurant for the up sell. Recommended nonetheless.

I visited this place and enjoyed it very much. Very nice venue with friendly men to be with. Loved getting naked there.

What a great place. I travel extensively so was rather surprised to find a sauna of this quality in such a small city; this venue would fit comfortably anywhere in the world. The facilities are like new and the staff very helpful. I am pleased I made the time to visit Menfriends and recommend that others do too.

Great place when busy but can be very quiet sometimes. Only has 2 floors in this building!!!!

I had the perfect time in this amazing venue. Good value for money, excellent facilities, friendly staff and even friendlier locals!
