Nah am schwulen Strand & Bars. Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis.

    Hotelbeschreibung

Avoid this hotel if your English.

Don’t know really where to start. We booked into the Subur for two weeks from the 14th Sept. After reading reviews we decided to upgrade to Balcony rooms I had emailed the hotel well in advance to make sure we had received the rooms on arrival. Well this is where the problems started, there was 4 in our group so all got checked in ok and found our rooms. We were given room 109. One word for this room is VILE. Paint coming off walls hardly any room between the bed to move around the tiniest of bathrooms, even the bath had been painted with Gloss that was peeling off. It was shocking. Not ones to complain we thought well this is what it is never again but let’s enjoy our holiday. We went for some food after the journey and to chill. On our arrival back to the hotel we went to my Parents room on the 3rd floor, there room was bright and airy and so much nicer than ours, so I decided to speak to reception as they were charging us €20.00 a night for the upgraded room. Well this is where it whet massively downhill. I went down to reception to enquire about another room maybe not the best idea as I had to deal with the most rudest receptionist I’ve ever come across. I explained the room was too small for 2 weeks for myself and my husband and really not worth the €20.00 a night extra I was paying. To this I got a aggressive NO and a waving of the hand to gesture to me to leave as she wasn’t interested in talking to me anymore, so I enquired why not and once again the waving of her hand in my face to tell me to leave, by this time my temper was raising and I was more embarrassed and shocked at the rudeness of the receptionist, so I questioned is this how you speak to your guests in this hotel, once again I was totally ignored. I have never been so embarrassed and angry by the rudeness, I decided to speak to the receptionist who checked us in, I questioned is this how this lady speaks to everyone he just shock his head in embarrassment, he said he will try and change our room but it might take a few days. I left it there and told him I would require to speak to management regarding her behaviour. Once back in my room I decided to speak to Jet2 who were totally brilliant and offered to move us straight away, I declined as it was only myself and my husband and that would leave my parents in the hellhole. It took till the 17th to get to speak to the front of house manager, what a waste of time that was. The receptionist had found a witness to our Altercation who wasn’t even there whilst she was being so blatantly rude. This lady was Spanish ( no surprise ) what that says to me is I’ve done wrong and need to cover myself ) when I went through everything with the front of house manager she wasn’t interested at all she had already been told one side of a story and that’s what she was going to believe, when I asked if she had seen the CCTV she said she doesn’t need to and she also isn’t allowed to only the police are. Never heard that before but who am I to question. We did get moved rooms after 3 days but what a horrid start to our holiday, just because you are not happy with your standard of room. The pub/restaurant wasn’t much better never clearing tables, so when you clear them yourselves you get shouted at. Well clear the tables so your customers can sit and eat. All in all a really poor run hotel, there are much nicer hotels in Sitges with a lower star rating. Avoid if you want a rundown hotel. I have to say the cleaners in the hotel are superb. Our room in the end was always spotless. That’s about the only good thing I can say about this hotel. I know await a sarcastic response from management as that’s all they seem to do. Here is the hotel's response, totally shocking. Dear Stephen, Thank you for share your review about your last visit to our Hotel. We are not going to be sarcastic, since we take any comments from our clients very seriously. The only thing we have to add to your comments is that we will thank you if you do not return to our hotel, Regards Isabel Muñoz Assistant Manager
